One huge problem with diet soda is the use of artificial sweeteners. Most of them are suspect of causing health problems. For example aspartame, which is straight out harmful. Also here belong cyclamates, sucralose, and some others. They are all produced in a lab. The only acceptable sweetener I would ever use is Stevia. Stevia is 100 percent natural and totally safe.
Hi jemila,
Thanks for the comment. You are absolutely right. The artificial sweeteners are the root of the problem, especially aspartame. Did you know that roughly 10 percent of aspartame is free methanol? Methanol in our body is converted into formaldehyde, which is potent poison. In fact, for humans there are no safe levels of formaldehyde.
Interesting, compelling. But the suggestion to have a glass of fresh fruit drink. Isn’t fruit juice high in sugar and harmful in that concentration. yikes! which was do I go
You are right, Julia. Not so good a suggestion. The above was a guest post from Paul. I guess he needs to improve on his recommendations a little bit.
